To Learn. To Live. To Love.

A poetic journey through faith, motherhood, healing, and the quiet strength found within the human heart.

A Collection Written From the Soul

To Learn, To Live, To Love is more than a book of poetry — it is a spiritual and emotional memoir written in verse.
Each poem captures a season of life. From childhood innocence and questions about the state of the world, to the ache of separation, to the celebration of family milestones, to intimate conversations with God — this collection unfolds like a lifelong prayer.
Georgeann writes candidly about:

  • The fear and confusion of a changing world
  • The sacrifice required to love deeply
  • The heartbreak of feeling like “a mother without a child”
  • The unwavering strength found in faith
  • The search for inner peace
  • The courage to be proud of who you are

Meet Georgeann Hartman

Georgeann Hartman’s poetry was not born from ease — it was born from reflection, resilience, and a lifelong search for belonging.
Growing up in a family of six children, Georgeann often felt different, quieter, and unseen. While surrounded by love, she struggled with self-doubt and a deep longing to feel understood. She carried questions many hold silently: Am I enough? Do I belong? Will I ever feel whole?
For years, those questions lingered beneath the surface.
It was through poetry that she discovered her voice. Writing became her sanctuary — a place where vulnerability could breathe and emotions could be honored without judgment. As a sensitive and deeply reflective soul, she found that verse allowed her to transform pain into perspective and loneliness into connection.

Moments Within the Pages

When I Was a Child

A reflection on a world that once felt simple and safe, contrasted with today’s uncertainty. It questions fear, division, and the loss of innocence while holding onto hope that kindness can still prevail.

I Like a Mother Without a Child

One of the most emotionally raw pieces in the collection. A mother’s ache, her longing, her strength to move forward even while her heart remains tender.

Within Myself

A powerful affirmation of identity and inner courage. This poem embraces self-acceptance and reminds us that strength often comes from within, even when the world misunderstands us.

Peace

An invitation into stillness. Through waterfalls, birds in flight, moonlight, and gentle breezes, Georgeann paints a portrait of tranquility rooted in faith and awareness.

Tomorrow

A reminder that no matter how heavy today feels, tomorrow brings renewal. It speaks to second chances, resilience, and the courage to begin again.

Inner Self

A meditation on contentment, emotional maturity, and the beauty of being fully known and loved — not for perfection, but for authenticity.
